Ndi Igbo; How Did We Offend The Gods?

This is not the best time to poke fun at some of my online IPOB supporters.

In igbo land, if a child brings home an ant infested wood and is bitten by the soldier ants, elders will first pour ash on him before condemning him for being careless. This is also the philosophy behind chasing away the fox before scolding the chicken for wondering too close to the perimeter of the poultry.

Against the above ageless wisdom, I have refused to fall into the temptation of telling some people; I told you so. I am sure the priest who farts in the altar during consecration of the Eucharis knows himself.

If I had believed in IPOB like some of my online friends, I would have traveled to Aba, Umuahia and other theaters of engagement. I would not have hidden behind a computer or smart phone to pontificate or share videos of IBOP members murdered by the Nigeria Army.

These online warriors, particularly those abroad were over 80% responsible for the monster IPOB had become. President Buhari, is responsible for 5%, young upcoming Igbo intellectuals and technocrats contributed 5 %while the rest 10% is made up of Keke riders, South East Governors and politicians who kept criminally quiet while IPOB turned into a Frankenstein.

This situation was also the same situation North East found itself in the era of Boko Haram. No northern leader condemned Boko Haram but saw it as a means to destabilize Jonathan’s administration. They condoned them and tolerated them so long as their targets were things considered anti-Islamic like sports viewing centre, alcoholic bars and schools teaching western education.

Also in the north under Sharia, all sharia states had and still have their own police, who took pleasure in illegally breaking into people’s shops to confiscated and destroy beer. The entire northern leadership kept quiet and none spoke out.

Against these, I call on ndi igbos to rally round for the defense of South East. It is now not about IPOB but this fox must be chased away. A python can be domesticated and if it refuses, it be used to cook hot yam pepper-soup. No man has ever been chased away from his farm because of a python.

South East is not Daura where a Python kept people off their well until Bayajidda killed it to liberate them. In igbo land we have Idemili people who worship python, they should be consulted on how to deal with this Operation Python Dance and deduce it.

We do not run from foreign gods but we master it.

How did we offend the gods? We allowed some people to eat the sacred nzu and elders watched as children were playing with deities, calling the gods of the Jews and attempted to discredit our gods.

Amadioha calls for sacrifice to cage this python and all titled men in all fields of life should drink deep and let us join hands to safe igbo land and we shall deal with IPOB later!
