PDP NATIONAL CONVENTION EXTENDS MAKARFI'S TENURE FOR FOUR MONTHS

The National Convention of the PDP has extended the tenure of the National Caretaker Committee headed by Ahmed Makarfi for four months.

The Caretaker Committee also has the mandate to amend the PDP constitution and organise an elective convention.

The motion for the extension of tenure was moved by Senator Godswill Akpajo and Seconded by Former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido.

The Chairman of the Convention, Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa put the question, which was adopted by the Convention.
