NAIJ.com recalls that Gbadamosi, an alleged critic of President Muhammadu Buhari and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) was detained last Wednesday after he honoured an invitation from the SSS.
He was then transferred to Abuja the same day and was held there until his release today.
Gbadamosi's detention drew lots of condemnation from the camp of opposition party PDP especially from Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose.
The secret police has yet to reveal why Gbadamosi was detained in the first place.
Meanwhile, the SSS has warned politicians against making hate speeches and inciting comments during elections.
The secret agency expressed its disappointment at politicians who have already started election campaign despite the fact that election is not near yet.
