The Bring Back Our Girls campaign group has asked the federal government to tell Nigerian when the remaining abducted Chibok girls will be rescued.
The recent move by the BBOG comes a day after President Muhammadu Buhari spoke to the United States' president Donald Trump on telephone.
During the call, Trump had congratulated Buhari on the rescue of 24 school girls who were rescued in December.
President Buhari also promised the US president that the federal government was working effortlessly towards eliminating insurgency in Nigeria.
He also promised that the remaining abducted girls will be rescue by the government.
But in its fresh call, the BBOG in a statement signed by Obiageli Ezekwesili and Aisha Yesufu said its perceives an offer of handshake by the US government to help Nigeria in its fight against terrorism.
The group said: "In light of the news that US President Donald Trump congratulated President Buhari on the return of our 24 Chibok girls, we see an offer of a handshake by the US government to partner with Nigeria in not only rescuing the remaining 195, but all others in captivity and a final routing of Boko Haram, and return of normality to the North-East."
The group noted that a partnership between the two countries indicates a global interest in the return of the girls that were abducted in 2014.
“Tuesday, February 14, marked the 1037 days of abduction of the Chibok girls and 622 days under President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration as well as day 1022 of consistent BringBackOurGirls advocacy," the BBOG said.
“The promise by the minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed, to secure the release of another 83 Chibok girls has taken longer time than necessary.
“In response to our repeated inquiries, the minister said that negotiations are still on to secure the release of our 83 more Chibok girls we were promised will return ‘soon’.
“Our question is how soon is 'soon'?" the asked.
Over 200 girls were abducted from their hostel in Government Secondary School in Chibok, Borno state on April 14, 2014, by members of Boko Haram terrorist group.
Since their abduction, the BBOG group have maintained its momentum in campaigning for the safe rescue of the girls and many others abducted by the terrorist in the region.
Also, since their abduction over 50 of the girls have managed to escape while the release of 24 girls were facilitated by the federal government in a negotiation deal with the terrorists in December.
